Official Contest Rules
Submission accepted:
July 1, 2008 – Nov 25, 2008
Genre: Fiction – Thriller, Suspense, Mystery, or Adventure
Requirements:
- Manuscript must be completed
- Final manuscript between 80,000 and 150,000 words
- Author has all rights and authority to complete work
- Author is age 18 or older
Author should submit:
- First 3 chapters (author and title in header of each page)
- 1-page synopsis (author and title in header)
- Entry form
- Entry fee of $25
Ten finalists will be asked to submit their complete novels for consideration.
Finalists will be announced by Dec 15, 2008
Complete manuscripts must be received by Jan 15, 2009 to be eligible for Grand Prize.

Fine print:
- Winning contract will be standard Griffyn Ink publishing contract
- Author must meet all eligibility requirements to win
- Multiple submissions are allowed. Submit each novel separately
- Entries must be postmarked by November 25, 2008 to qualify
- Entry fee is non-refundable and must be paid at time of submission
- Submission accepted through WordHustler.com and through standard mail
- No e-mail or fax submissions will be considered
- All results are final
- No submitted materials will be returned
